Man due in court in connection with Dublin garda corruption probe

A man will appear in court on Wednesday morning in connection with the investigation into activities of a Garda unit based in Dublin.
The Garda Anti-Corruption Unit has been investigating this particular Garda unit.
Four members of An Garda Síochána have been suspended from duty since the start of the investigation.
The man, a civilian, has been charged and will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, this morning.
This is the third court appearance as part of this investigation.
The unit has continued operational activities performed by other members of An Garda Síochána.
"As this is an ongoing criminal investigation An Garda Síochána is making no further comment," a Garda spokesperson said.
