A Cork man who attacked a teenager with two hurling sticks and also swung them at gardaí while “highly intoxicated” was released from Cork Prison after he pleaded guilty to three offences on Tuesday.

Neil O’Rahilly struck at the 17-year-old with a hurling stick on September 29, 2023, at O’Brien St, Mallow.
