Addict caught in Kinsale hotel room with drugs worth €4,400

Accused was one of three people found in a room in Acton's Hotel on January 20, 2023, with the drugs for sale or supply, court heard

Gardaí received confidential information about suspected drugs being located in the hotel room, court told.

A Dubliner with a 32-year heroin addiction was caught in Acton’s Hotel in Kinsale with a €4,400 stash of heroin and cocaine.

Eamon Kane, 49, was one of three people found in a room in that hotel on January 20, 2023, with the drugs for sale or supply.
