A Cork man with 271 previous convictions who got a 10-month sentence after admitting to several more thefts said by video link from prison: “I’ll be sticking in an appeal, Judge.” 

That was the comment made by 39-year-old Mark Duggan of 65 Ballinderry Park, Mayfield, Cork, as soon as Judge Mary Dorgan imposed the latest prison sentence on him at Cork District Court.
