'I'm happy with that,' says man jailed in Cork for shoplifting and threatening behaviour

The defendant suggested that the judge, Mary Dorgan, could become the next Irish president

A Moroccan national appearing in Cork District Court by video link from prison voiced his arrival by saying that he was happy with his solicitor and happy with the judge, and when he got a three-month jail term, he said: “I am happy with that.”
