A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a man's body at a house in Co Tipperary.
A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a man's body at a house in Co Tipperary.
The Polish man, aged in his 30s, was found dead at a rented property close to the village of in Kilross shortly after 4am on Wednesday.
The arrested man, aged in his 30s, is currently being held at a garda station in Munster under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
The man's remains were taken to University Hospital Waterford where an autopsy took place on Thursday.
The scene at Ballycrana remains sealed off tonight.
Local councillor John Crosse said the community is in "shock” at the man's death.
"This is a man who was living and working here for quite some time, several years, and for this to happen, in this small area and especially over Christmas, it is quite shocking," he told the
