Ukrainian woman accused of dangerous driving causing death remanded in custody

Cork District Court heard that a file has yet to be sent to the DPP in relation to the case.

The investigation into the case against a Ukrainian refugee accused of dangerous driving causing the death of a fellow Ukrainian man with whom she had been socialising in Cork was described as ongoing and so far the file has not been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Sergeant Gearóid Davis was responding to a question from the defence at Cork District Court in respect of the incident on October 10.
