A 27-year-old man took only nine minutes to breach a barring order served on him not to approach his mother or put her in fear.

On Thursday he was remanded in custody for sentencing on the charge. His solicitor, Frank Buttimer, indicated that he was pleading guilty to putting his mother in fear by breaching the barring order.
