A teenager was struck over the head with a glass bottle as he fled from two older men in Clonakilty and he was then kicked eight times on the ground.

Michael Stokes, of St Anthony’s Park, Hollyhill, Cork, pleaded guilty to a charge of assault causing harm to the 16-year-old in the car park of the Park Hotel in Clonakilty on May 6.
