Revenue officers have seized more than four million cigarettes as part of an intelligence-led operation in Dublin on Thursday.

The illicit cigarettes, branded ‘Richmond’, have an estimated value of €3.4m, representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of approximately €2.7m, a Garda spokesperson said.
