More than €3,000 worth of cigarettes were stolen from a shop along with €635 in cash and the security camera was damaged by the main raider as his accomplice’s voice was captured appealing to him: "I am begging you, please, let’s go." 

The man described as "the main actor in the burglary", 35-year-old Jamie McCarthy of 25 Fairhill Drive, Fairhill, Cork, was sentenced at Cork Circuit Criminal on Monday.
