Two arrested following Bingo Loco brawl in Cork

Two people were arrested and two hospitalised following a large and violent altercation at a Bingo Loco event at a Cork hotel on Saturday night.
Videos circulating online appear to show a large brawl breaking out during Bingo Loco at the Rochestown Park Hotel in Douglas.
A man in his 50s and a woman in her 20s were arrested at the hotel, while two men were taken to hospital for treatment.
One video appears to show several men and women fighting and crashing through tables and chairs while a separate video taken outside the back entrance of the hotel shows several separate fights occurring simultaneously.
Some of those involved were dressed up for Halloween.
A Garda spokesperson said two men were taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment for minor injuries following the fight.
“Gardaí received a report of a public order disturbance at a licenced premises in Douglas, Cork on Saturday night, 28th October 2023.
“A male in his 50s and a female in her 20s were arrested at the scene for public order offences and conveyed to a Garda station in Cork City.
“They have both since been released without charge and files are being prepared for submission to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
“Investigations are ongoing,” they said.
