Cork man caught in bedroom with drugs worth almost €130,000 avoids jail sentence

Cork gardaí went to the man's house with a warrant and found him 'in his bedroom surrounded by drugs'.

A 21-year-old Cork man who was caught sitting in his bedroom surrounded by a stash of cocaine and cannabis worth almost €130,000 was given a five-year suspended sentence.

Judge Helen Boyle commented during the sentencing of Evan Hourigan at Cork Circuit Criminal Court: “You brought danger to your family home.”
