Man, 20s, injured in stabbing incident in Midleton

A man has been injured in an alleged stabbing incident in Midleton this evening.

Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the incident in the town at approximately 6.30pm.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was treated at the scene by members of the ambulance service. His injuries are not thought to be non-life threatening.

A garda spokesperson said no arrests have yet been made and investigations are ongoing.
