At the High Court on Monday, David Conlan Smyth SC, for Integration Minister Roderic O’Gorman, said it was anticipated both applicants would receive offers of accommodation by the middle of this week.

An Afghan male who claims he is a minor is one of two further asylum-seekers to take a High Court action over being left homeless since arriving in Ireland.

This is the second time asylum-seekers have gone to the High Court over being left homeless after arriving in this country.
