Former scout leader denies indecent assault of young boy

A man who was a scout leader in 1979 has been put on trial by judge and jury in Cork where he denied three charges of indecently assaulting a boy scout who was aged about 10 or 11 that summer.
The defence alleged the complaints were untrue and suggested: “This is about money.”
