Graham Dwyer's claim that his phone data was obtained and kept illegally by the state during a murder trial will be heard in Luxembourg today. He was sentenced to life in prison in 2015, for the murder of Elaine O'Hara, a conviction he is appealing in a separate action in Dublin.

It was very nearly the perfect murder. That was how prosecution counsel Sen Guerin SC described the killing of Elaine O’Hara on the opening day of the Graham Dwyer murder trial.
