Father entitled to orders for children’s return to North
The children, aged eight and 12, were habitually resident with their mother in the North until she removed them last autumn, without the father’s consent, and brought them to the Republic.
A High Court judge has ordered that two children of separated parents who were removed by their mother to the Republic from Northern Ireland must be returned there.
The children, aged eight and 12, were habitually resident with their mother in the North until she removed them last autumn, without the father’s consent, and brought them to the Republic. She opposed the father’s application for their return and the children said they wished to stay in the Republic.
