Guilty plea to three assaults on former best friend

Judge Kelleher adjourned the case until September 7 in order to give the injured party time to prepare a victim impact statement.

A 38-year-old man pleaded guilty yesterday to carrying out three different assaults in one evening on a man who had been his best friend.

Gary King, of Lios Cara Grove, Killeens, Cork, indicated through his solicitor, John Powell, at Cork District Court that he was pleading guilty to all of the charges against him.
