Man dies following crash in Co Roscommon

A man has died following a collision in Co Roscommon.
The fatal incident at Carrigans Park, Donamon, is believed to have occurred early this morning.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, a man aged in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Garda spokesperson said: His body has been conveyed to the mortuary at Galway University Hospital. A postmortem examination will take place in due course.
"The coroner has been notified."

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area of Carrigans Park, Donamon, Co. Roscommon, this morning, Sunday 31st May 2026 - between 5:00am and 9:00am - are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
