Gardaí seize €5.1m worth of cannabis in Dublin as four men arrested 

As part of an intelligence-led operation, Revenue officers seized 255kgs of the drug. 

Four men have been arrested following the seizure of over €5m worth of cannabis on Thursday in Dublin. 

As part of an intelligence-led operation, Revenue officers seized 255kgs of the drug. 

The €5.1m seizure was made as part of a joint operation with gardaí in the National Drugs Unit and Organised Crime Bureau. 

Four men, aged in their 20s, 40s, 50s and 60s, were arrested by gardaí in relation to this investigation. 

They are currently detained under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007, at Garda Stations in the Dublin area.
