Temperatures to rise above 20C as settled weather returns, says Met Éireann

Temperatures are set to climb as high as 23C over the coming days, with Met Éireann forecasting warm or very warm conditions.
The national forecaster said high pressure will bring largely dry and settled weather, although some sea fog is expected to affect coastal areas at times.
Friday began mild and cloudy, with patches of mist and drizzle across the country.
Some hazy sunny spells are expected to develop gradually during the afternoon, with showery rain spreading eastwards later in the day.
The heaviest rain is forecast for Ulster.

Daytime highs are expected to range between 17C and 20C, although southern coastal areas will remain somewhat cooler.
Any lingering showers are expected to clear early overnight, followed by mostly dry and cloudy conditions.
Mist and fog may develop in southeastern counties, while overnight temperatures are forecast to remain between 9C and 12C.
Saturday is expected to be dry and warm, with sunny spells and moderate breezes.
Temperatures could reach 21C, although coastal areas may again remain slightly cooler.
Conditions are forecast to stay dry and largely clear on Saturday night, although cloudier skies are expected in northwestern areas.
Mist and fog patches may form in the southwest by morning, with overnight lows ranging between 8C and 12C.
Sunday is also expected to bring warm weather and sunshine.
Cloudier conditions will persist in the northwest until evening before brighter spells develop.
Sea fog may affect southern coasts for a time on Sunday morning, while temperatures are forecast to range between 18C and 22C.
Mist, fog, and sea fog patches are expected to develop again on Sunday night into Monday morning, although conditions should remain dry.
Looking ahead to next week, Monday is forecast to begin bright, with lingering mist and fog patches in some areas during the morning.
Sunny spells are expected to become more widespread through the day, with temperatures ranging from 18C to 23C.
Current indications suggest Tuesday will also begin largely bright, with some mist and fog patches lingering in places before warm and sunny conditions become more widespread later in the day.
