Funeral details for Donegal businessman Stephen McCahill announced

The funeral of Donegal businessman Stephen McCahill, a father-of-two who was found dead outside his home, will take place on Saturday.
Mr McCahill, aged 66, was found outside his residence at Beagh, Ardara, in the early hours of Monday morning.
On Tuesday, a man was charged with the murder of Mr McCahill. Michael Maloney, 32, of Loughros Point, Ardara, appeared before a special sitting of Letterkenny district court on Tuesday evening.
Mr McCahill’s remains will repose at his home on Thursday from 11am to 9pm, and on Friday from 11am to 9pm.
His funeral will take place on Saturday with a requiem mass at 12pm in the Church Of The Holy Family, Ardara, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Tributes have poured in for Mr McCahill since the news of his death, with the business man being heavily involved in the local community. He was named Donegal Person of the Year in 2016.

On his death notice, it read that Mr McCahill will be "sadly missed by the wider McCahill family, his much-loved Corner House family, his large circle of friends and neighbours, and everyone who benefited from his tireless work to help the communities of South West Donegal".
"Stephen’s legacy lives on in the many lives he touched."
He is survived by his wife Marietta, children Gemma and Steven, daughter-in-law Lauren, granddaughter Marykate and his wider family and friends. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Eileen and Packie, and his brother, Micheal.
