Five people had to be rescued from the top floor of an International Protection Accommodation Service (Ipas) centre in Drogheda on Friday night due to a fire caused by fireworks thrown into the building.
Justice minister Jim O'Callaghan described the incident as a "criminal attack" and said there would be "serious consequences for those responsible".
