Garda probe after human remains found in Dublin following car fire 

Emergency services attended the scene following a report of a vehicle on fire on the Killeek Bridge shortly after 11am on Monday. 

Gardaí are investigating after a body was found following a car fire in north county Dublin. 

Emergency services attended the scene following a report of a vehicle on fire on the Killeek Bridge shortly after 11am on Monday. 

Gardaí said the Dublin Fire Brigade put out the fire and human remains were found.

A spokesperson said the person's body remains at the scene and an autopsy will be carried out, which will determine the nature of the investigation.

Investigations are ongoing, the spokesperson said.
