Four people in serious condition following Co Kilkenny motorway crash

The driver, aged in his 30s, and his three passengers, aged in their 30s and 40s, were taken to Waterford University Hospital where they remain in a serious condition.
Four people have been hospitalised and remain in a serious condition following a single-vehicle collision in Co Kilkenny.
The crash occurred on the M9 motorway southbound at Stonecarty, Knocktopher at around 7pm on Saturday.
The vehicle left the road and stopped in a field.
The driver, aged in his 30s, and his three passengers, aged in their 30s and 40s, were taken to Waterford University Hospital where they remain in a serious condition.
The M9 motorway between junction 9 and junction 10 southbound is currently closed.
A technical examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators is currently underway, and diversions are in place.
Gardaí are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
In a statement, a Garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area at the time of the collision to make this footage available to Gardaí.
