Urgent recall: 5,000 mini heaters pulled from Irish stores over electric shock risk

Ireland’s consumer watchdog has issued an urgent recall notice for over 5,000 electric mini heaters sold in Ireland, due to a risk of electric shock.

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) said the serious risk was revealed during testing of the De Vielle Dual Fan Electric Heater.
