Ombudsman launches investigation after man, 51, dies following gardaí interaction

A 51-year-old man has died after he suffered serious injuries following an interaction with gardaí in Dublin city centre.

Fiosrú announced this week that it was investigating the incident which took place near the Holiday Inn on O'Connell Street after the man interacted with an on-duty Garda.
