Met Éireann forecasts highs of 26C this week with risk of midweek thunderstorms

Tonight will be largely dry at first, but scattered showers may develop later, some turning heavy or thundery.
Temperatures could climb as high as 26C later this week, though there is also a risk of thunderstorms on Wednesday, Met Éireann said.
Conditions will be warm and humid, with temperatures ranging from 21C to 26C most days in southerly breezes.
