Gardaí investigate whether attack on man in Dublin was hate crime

Gardaí are investigating whether an attack on a man in his 40s in Dublin was a hate crime.

The man was hospitalised after the incident which occurred at Parkhill Rd in Tallaght at approximately 6pm on Saturday.

A Garda spokesperson told the Irish Examiner: "Gardaí attended the scene and a male, aged in his 40s was taken to Tallaght University Hospital with injuries."
