A leading humanitarian forensic specialist, who will play a key role in the forthcoming landmark intervention at the Tuam babies’ burial site, has said the “children’s bones will be able to tell their own story, if they are given a chance”. 

Oran Finegan will oversee the implementation of the forensic programme for the Tuam mother and baby home under the Director of Authorised Intervention.
