Gardaí investigate death of man following incident at Dublin home
A senior investigating officer based at Lucan Garda Station is leading the inquiry
Gardaí have launched an investigation following the death of a man in his 50s after an incident at a house in Foxdene Drive, Balgaddy, Co Dublin, late on Wednesday night.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 11pm. The injured man was taken to Tallaght University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The scene remains sealed off for a forensic examination by the Garda Technical Bureau, and an autopsy will be conducted in due course.
The local coroner has been notified.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the area between 11pm and midnight — particularly those with dash-cam or other camera footage — to contact Lucan Garda Station on (01) 666 7300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
