Man and woman dead in Co Galway house fire

Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at the premises in Gleann Mhac Muirinn shortly after 6am.
Gardaí are investigating the deaths of two people following a house fire in Gleann Mhac Muirinn, near Casla in Co Galway, early on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at around 6.20am.
Fire crews brought the fire under control, and the bodies of a woman in her 70s and a man in his 30s were discovered inside the property.
The scene has been preserved for a full technical examination.
Both bodies have been taken to Galway University Hospital, where an autopsy will be carried out.
The results, along with findings from the forensic examination of the scene, will guide the direction of the garda investigation.
The local coroner has been notified, and gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
