Temperatures to reach 21C as Ireland enjoys warm, sunny spell this week

Temperatures of 20C are to be expected on Wednesday and Thursday, according to Met Éireann, as the current sunny spell continues.
A temperature of 20.2C was recorded at the weather station at Newport Furnace in Co. Mayo on Monday, making Monday the warmest day of the year so far.
