Woman arrested after €125k worth of drugs seized in Dublin

Gardaí have arrested a woman after an early morning operation saw €125,000 worth of drugs seized in Dublin.
Officers on patrol in Swords stopped a vehicle at around 12.30am on Monday.
The vehicle had been alerted to gardaí after it was shown to have no tax or insurance on one of their systems.
The driver, a woman in her 30s, was discovered to be disqualified and arrested by Gardaí.
Following a search, approximately €70,000 of suspected cocaine was discovered concealed in the vehicle.
In a subsequent search under warrant of a residential property in the Swords area, gardaí discovered approximately €55,000 of suspected cannabis herb.
The drugs seized will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis.
The arrested woman is currently detained at a garda station in the DMR North.
Investigations are ongoing.
