Woman airlifted to hospital after three-car crash on N17 in Co Galway
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the incident on the N17 between Tuam and Milltown at around 8.45am.
A woman was airlifted to hospital following a three-car crash in Co Galway on Friday morning.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the incident on the N17 between Tuam and Milltown at around 8.45am.
The occupant of one of the cars, a woman in her 30s, was airlifted to University Hospital Galway.
The occupants of the other two cars — two men in their 30s, a woman in her 30s, and a child — were brought to the hospital by ambulance.
The road remains closed as gardaí carry out a technical examination of the scene.
Diversions are currently in place via Dunmore, with gardaí on-site.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who were on the N17 at Kilcloony between 8.30am and 9am and may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to gardaí.
