Yellow wind warnings issued for Cork, Kerry, Waterford, and three other counties

A pair of status yellow wind warnings have been issued for Cork, Kerry, Waterford, and three other counties for Friday morning, with "very strong and gusty southerly winds" forecast.

The first warning, for Cork and Kerry, will be in place from 4am on Friday until 8am. During this time, Met Éireann is warning of "difficult travelling conditions" in the Rebel County and the Kingdom, as well as fallen trees and branches and a risk of debris and loose objects being displaced by high winds.
