Some 32,000 homes, businesses, farms, and schools across the country are without electricity this evening, 11 days on from Storm Éowyn.

In an update issued on Monday afternoon following a meeting of the National Emergency Coordination Group (NECG), the ESB said it had restored supply to more than 736,000 properties since the storm hit and that it would continue to "mobilise all available resources to restore power connections as soon as possible" in areas still affected by outages.
