Children choose 'kindness' as the word of the year 

Oxford University Press said the survey found that mental health was behind the selection of the word 'kindness'. 

Children between the ages of six and 14 have chosen 'kindness' as the word of the year for 2024. 

The Children’s Word of the Year was chosen following a survey by the Oxford University Press (OUP).
