Met Éireann warns of high winds and possible snowfalls

A status yellow wind warning is in place for eight counties this weekend and Met Éireann has said snow is expected before Christmas.

The wind warning is in place until 2pm on Sunday for Clare, Kerry, Limerick, Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo.
