National temperature above average amid driest October since 2018 — Met Éireann

October 2024 was the driest since 2018, with an average of 109.2mm of rainfall across the country, according to the latest data.

The Climate Statement for October from Met Éireann said that, while it was “relatively dry for most of the country,” the Southwest saw above-average rainfall.
