Recruitment drive to fill roles at new gambling regulator

Under the legislation passed last month, the watchdog will have sweeping powers to regulate the sector in Ireland.

Recruitment has begun to fill key roles at Ireland’s new gambling regulator, just over a week after landmark legislation was signed into law.

The justice minister has invited candidates to fill the role of chair and six ordinary members on the board of the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland.
