Parents left to Google therapy solutions for children with disabilities

The use of ‘Dr Google’ has replaced appointments for many, mother and advocate for children with disabilities Rebecca O'Riordan said.

Parents are being forced to Google therapeutic exercises for children with disabilities because of devastating waiting lists for therapy appointments, a mother and advocate has said.

Rebecca O’Riordan, who quit a national steering group on children’s disability services because of the lack of progress in providing services to children, says there are “only barriers” for the families she supports at Fuss Ireland (Families Unite for Services and Support).
