Chewing tobacco worth €137,500 seized at Dublin Port

Revenue officers have seized chewing cannabis worth €137,500 at Dublin Port.

Last Friday, 250kg of the illegal tobacco was discovered by officers examining parcels on the premises.

The parcels originated from Belgium and were intended for an address in Dublin.

Investigations are currently ongoing.

The seizure was made as part of Revenue's ongoing operation targeting smuggling and the sale and supply of illegal tobacco products.
