Councillors undergoing training in regards to social media awareness and personal safety

Deputy Dillon was announced as the new Junior Minister at the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government on April 10

Local councillors are undergoing regular training in regards to social media awareness and personal safety as part of their work in their communities.

This training is viewed as critical for councillors, especially women and those from minority backgrounds, in carrying out their role.
