Non-European nationals in Cork and Limerick can now renew visas online

The Department of Justice announced it would be transferring the responsibilities of registering permissions from gardaí to the department’s Immigration Service Delivery.

Non-European migrants living, working and studying in Cork and Limerick can now renew their residence permits online.

Migrants who required a visa to live in Cork were previously required to book a face-to-face appointment with gardaí to renew their permissions, whereas in Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow and Meath, migrants could carry the renewals online.
