Man, 41, dies in single vehicle crash in Co Antrim

A man has died in a single vehicle road crash in Co Antrim.

Connor McNeill, 41, was killed when the Nissan X-Trail he was driving on the Carnlough Road in Broughshane left the carriageway shortly before 3.30pm on Tuesday.

Two young children who were passengers in the car were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

The Carnlough Road was closed for a number of hours following the collision, but has since reopened.

Police have asked anyone travelling in the area at the time of the crash to review any dash-cam footage they may have captured and make contact with them.
