The Canary Islands’ president has admitted he is worried about the growing anti-tourism movement in the popular holiday destination, and the marches planned later this month.

Locals are due to protest on April 20 on five of the archipelago’s islands, including Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and Lanzarote.
