Ballinhassig man who paid teenage girls to make sexual abuse imagery jailed

Adam Palmer of Ballyhooleen, Ballinhassig, County Cork, was sentenced by Judge Colin Daly at Cork Circuit Criminal Court to two years with the second year suspended.

A Ballinhassig man paid girls aged from 14 to 16 to pose to make child sexual abuse videos and images which they sent to him by Snapchat from the UK and today he was given a one-year jail sentence.

In one case he acquired such material from a 12-year-old girl without making a payment to her.
