Lotto players in Dublin and Kildare urged to check tickets as Ireland has two new millionaires

There are two new millionaires in the country today and Lotto players in Kildare and Dublin are being urged to check their tickets.

An online player in the capital has become the first jackpot winner of the year, and the seventh highest jackpot winner in Irish history, with a prize of over €14.67m.

Meanwhile, someone in Kildare has won €1m in Sunday's Daily Millions 2pm draw.

The winners are now being urged to contact the National Lottery claims team in order to make arrangements to collect their prize.

The winning numbers in Sunday's Daily Million 2pm draw were: 11, 17, 18, 31, 33, 35 and the bonus was 15.

The winning store location will be revealed on Tuesday, January 30.

Commenting on the news, a National Lottery spokesperson said: "What a weekend this has turned into for our players. Saturday night’s Lotto draw saw an online player in Dublin win an incredible €14.67m and less than 24 hours later, we already have another National Lottery millionaire. A Daily Million player in Kildare is undoubtedly having a Sunday afternoon to remember after winning the top prize of €1m in today’s 2pm draw. 

"In the space of a week, three players nationwide have become millionaires. As well as our two wins this weekend, an online player in Kerry won the €1m top prize in the 9pm Daily Million draw on Tuesday 23rd January. 

"They say good things come in threes and that’s most certainly the case for our players this week! 

"Ireland’s newest millionaire should sign the back of their ticket and make contact with our prize claims team who will make arrangements for them to visit Lotto HQ to collect their incredible prize.”
